Goals and Plans of the FIDE Chess Media Project |
|
Dear Chess Friends,
Within the framework of the FIDE Chess Media Project we intend to present to your attention materials on printed and web-based chess magazines, TV chess programs, famous chess journalists and editors. Here you will also find information on the activities and accreditations terms of press centers at different chess events. Of course, we believe that gradually our site will become more attractive and informative, hoping that chess journalists, editors and other visitors will promote to further development of our website with their opinions and proposals.
For the present, we are making a catalogue of the leading chess publications of the world. The information about a lot of periodicals is already placed on our website and it is updated regularly.
Please, familiarize yourselves with those publications on our website and send your corrections, additions and suggestions about the periodicals to our email address -

And let’s always keep in mind that without propaganda, coverage by journalists and in periodicals chess would not have its due place and spread which we all desire.
